I just moved into an old apartment building with passive ventilation in the bathroom. The metal grate is inside the shower and is disgusting; I can't take the grate off to clean or put a finer filter on the inside andevery day i get a new layer of dusty film on my tub. Last year I made an emergency post-hurricane move into a house with no dryer and bad wiring and decided to try air drying. For seven months I embraced the romanticism of clothes on the line and afternoons of breezy sheets in my backyard, but my knits were ruined by lint and my colors were ruined by the sun.
