I use spam filtering for my gmail accounts, so no need for a separate account. But the security suggestion is brilliant, assuming that you really can keep the address secret, i.e., someone who hacks your account can't see the address.

About ten years ago I helped one of my dissertation advisors design t-shirts shirts for a scientific meeting he was organizing. I specifically looked at the Martha Stewart names and picked out ridiculously unhelpful names for green, blue and yellow. When the scientists were checking in, I'd ask them which t-shirt color they wanted--using the unhelpful names (but showing them). It was pretty funny to make all the PhDs say the ridiculous names.

Woot! The recommended DNS server should make browsing a whopping 240.3% faster. Pages definitely seemed to load a lot faster when I tried a couple sites.

I've never been tempted to purchase AD because I found the styling and photography too sterile and stale. I'll have to give it another look.

Too funny. I thought I was the only one that relied on a single, favorite spoon. It's one that I picked up at a vintage store. I used to have several, but lost the others somewhere along the way. It's more of a soup spoon shape and I like it for cereal and soup. For ice cream, I'll use a any old tea spoon, though.

I like the juxtaposition of the earthiness of the flooring and paint colors with the more glitzy furniture choices. The kitchen seems to stark for the rest of the space, though.

Still as cute as it was two days ago.

Wal Mart has some tension rods that look more like regular rods. There is a special contraption that goes inside the frame, so the rod can be placed in a normal spot outside the frame.

Like AnnieStuart's grandpa, my dad stored screws, nails, etc. in old baby jars like this with the lids nailed to the top of the shelf.

Lovely, but I'd like to see at least one mixte model.
