Only one Southern location (Atlanta) on the list.

I am always surprised to see St. Louis on these lists... I'm not sure why, but I am.

When IBM pulled out Poughkeepsie (and other Hudson Valley locations) more than 20 years ago, things started going downhill quickly.

It's an OK trend. Unfortunately, I've seen many design layouts where the individual tends to overdo and has words and letters sprinkled all over the place. Also, I can't stand "EAT" on a kitchen wall...

Just bought my daughter (13) the Burnette 46... She loves it. Very basic machine with all of the features you need to get started. My daughter liked the sleek black look of it too. I have an old Husqvarna that runs great after 20 years, but I've been having fun playing with the Burnette too.

A great beginner machine!

I like the "pops" of color throughout your home. It all works well.

I like Traditional Home. I miss the print edition of Domino so, so much!!!

I actually like HGTV Magazine as well... Has some good DIY ideas, but it's a bit heavy on the "talent" and predictable...

Every day I pick up clutter. I hate when stuff piles up. I have four kids, so it's not easy. I have an "upstairs basket" that I keep in the laundry room. We just toss stuff that needs to be put away or upstairs during the day... I empty it out in the evening. As for cleaning, I tackle something different each day (i.e. kids' bathrooms, son's room, upstairs hall)... I find this keeps things always looking pretty good without spending too much time each day on it. Actually, I like to clean, but the clutter makes me crazy.

I'm in the process of converting a 7' by 16' nook area in my upstairs hallway for crafting and sewing. I am planning to use the wall space as much as possible (take advantage of vertical space), with peg boards, magnetic boards, shelving, etc. I am trying to figure out the best option for two 6'-sized tables... I don't want anything expensive, and would like to construct something myself with boards, etc. Any suggestions of do-it-yourself tables that will hold up to a sewing machine, kids crafting, etc.

I have recently started using an iPhone app to wake me up. It gradually wakes you within a 30-minute window, using your body movements to determine when you are in a lighter sleep. I honestly feel I am awaking more refreshed and rested with this.

I have four kids in three schools. Mornings are hectic and stressful - for the first hour. Then everyone is out and I refocus with a cup of coffee, and sometimes a walk.

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Geranium products make me so happy. I have the dish and hand soaps, and make my own spray from the general cleaner.

I treat myself to flowers weekly - whatever is on sale at one of the four markets I frequent. This week seems to be all about tulips!

Yes, I agree with the advice to save and get the one you want. I just switched out my bedding to my winter/fall set. I was so happy to unpack the Pottery Barn duvet cover and pillow shams I bought about four years ago. They still look and feel like new!

In terms of saving money, I bought a high-count (600 thread) set at Target during a sale. I think the whole king size set was less than $50. I was worried that the quality would be iffy, but they are really nice, durable sheets.
