I'm thinking about repainting my black cabinets. Black seemed like a great idea when I painted in September. I still like it but it feels a bit too dark now. Not gloomy, just dark. I might go back to white. I also plan on finally choosing a new floor and putting up new curtains or blinds. I also have the "Smart Spin" set. I think it saved my marriage :-) My husband used hate, hate, hate all of the mismatched pieces and how much room they take up. I bought the Smart Spin kind of as a joke birthday gift for him. I can't tell you how much we love the thing. I'm not kidding. It's been four years and still once in a while he will say "this is the greatest thing ever!" Exaggerating aside...it really is convenient and takes up about 1 square foot. Thank you for the tour Bridget! I love your home! Thanks to AT for including Sacramento. We are a well kept secret that really should be shared. Sacramento has a lot to inspire. A vibrant Second Saturday Art Walk that I am sure Bridget has checked out and lots of great little cottages like Bridget's and tons of sleek lofts too. I hope to see more Sacto on AT.
