Little Jack just sheds way too much to be allowed on the couch or the bed anymore. We know he still climbs up on the sofa back while we're gone - the dent is there to prove it - but while we're home, he plays by the rules. As a general rule, I'm not a fan of anything that looks like it pulled its palette from a strip of Lisa Frank stickers. I much prefer the sweet pale yellow of the house on the far right. It's fresh and cheery without being wacky or out of step with the neighborhood and its historic homes. Yellow houses with bright red doors are my favorite color combo in beautiful Georgetown. Also, after a quick look through her web site and the NYTimes article that ran featuring her studio renovation in NYC, I'd love to see a more in-depth house tour featuring her current space. This is hands-down one of my favorite home tours I've seen on AT so far. Everything from the dining chairs to the coffee table to the beautiful framed botanicals is just darling.
