This would depend on how long the appliance cords are and if you have enough room (I can't really tell from the picture) - Could you move the stove out so that it lines up with the other cabinets, and then turn the fridge sideways and put it up against the wall behind the stove - So that the side of the fridge was against the back of the stove? Then you could put a shelf above the fridge and add some plants, etc. without worrying about plants over the stove... How to Make New Kitchen Look Less Awkward? I've been using these sheets for years -- I LOVE them! My sets did start to pill, so I decided to put them on inside out every once in a while and the pilling seemed to stop/soften up.
