Ahh! I just hate those tiny tiny veggies & fruits crispers mini-drawers!! When are they going to create big veg & fruit bins in the fridge ?

And yes, when the temp drops down we (well, some people in Canada) do use our balconies... Un heated garages work just as well.

"2009 Best cheese in the world" is Le Cendrillon (a play on words...means...Cinderalla...and cendres = ashes) a delicious québécois cheese.

I hope you get to try it, it's amazing!

@Apfelmus : if it's something small consider a bit of water (not hot, more like cold to slightly luke warm) in the sink and weighing down the frozen something in the water...30 mins to an hour would do, while you prep your other ingredients.

Thank God I found a bag of half-freezer-burnt raspberries last night...I was baking a crumble and didn't have enough fruits! Turned out great! :)

It's lovely but the big bowl, the big lantern, the big 3 canisters are a big oversized for the space.

Kettle chips are more browned than regular chip, so the flavour has more dept; in my opinion.

gha I want chips now!

One more thing...it wouldn't be bad (in my opinion) to repeat the round theme with something round or circular as a light option or a decorative bowl... That way it doesn't look like it was an accident..

I think that if the rug is slightly bigger than the table and that when the chairs are pushed out, they are still on the rug, that could work?

Hey, a Salade Niçoise is quite filling, everybody picks what they like, it's cold and one of my favorite.

I would strongly suggest Laura Calder Salade Niçoise http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipes/Appetizer/Fish/recipe.html?dishid=9054

The vinaigrette is to die for (terragon yum) and if you serve tuna (being from a can or fresh) with good quality olive oil and lemon, plus some cold potatoes, it's very good.

And you can prepare in advance if you don't put the dressing on too early.

Plus it's lighter than mayo type based salads.

Can I say anything else?
