Actually, "just changing knobs" is a GREAT way to add color to a room, particularly in an apartment situation where you may not have the option of painting or making too many other changes. Just because "anyone can go online and get nobs [sic]" isn't a very good reason not to use a viable, economical option for adding color to a room. It's an obvious quick fix, but change the cabinet knobs!
