KIDS ROOM! I love it for a kids room--especially for families in loft like living spaces, this creates a great space for a child to sleep. I agree, scones would do well in this room. It also looks like you could fit a brightly colored cloth basket/container for toys under each of your side tables. We found a great chinese chest (with a side as opposed to top opening) which works as a stylish place to hide toys. To lighten things up, you might also consider getting a twin fitted sheet to cover your sofa seat. While leather is durable, our 4 years with an active boy have proven that it is not durable enough! We just ordered a mini loft bed from a CT store and my son loves it. Here is their website: http://www.sendmetomyroom.com/ They have free delivery and set up in NYC. Great service! The Storage Bed from Potty...opps, I mean Pottery Barn is much more stylish and better constructed. West Elm is one step up from Ikea--Great Design, bad construction.
