I love when a home reflects the personalities and values of the people who live there. And these home-dwellers genuinely seem like cool, interesting, creative people. Such beauty and cozy charm. One of my favorite house tours yet! Rachel's Mid Century Rancho Hideaway House Tour |

I was cooking with sage last night - a butternut squash soup, my very first! - and I was amazed at how gorgeously fragrant it smelled. It really was a mood-enhancer. Great post! :-) Naturally Scented Home: Place Quince in Bowl...That's It |

Wow, the designs are fascinating and beautiful to boot. And they remind me of Anna Bond's work at Rifle Paper Company. I adore her work, and I may just have to get myself a copy of this book when it becomes available. Reading List: The Art of Instruction |

While the yellow pictured above is lovely, it strikes me more as sunshine yellow and more summery in spirit (with the exception of the second photo). To me, autumnal yellow is moodier, more golden, less sunshine. Something like mustard or amber. Like the second photo. Fall Color Inspiration: Golden Yellow Interiors |

Although you may get the Missoni spirit, you certainly don't get the Missoni quality. Which is why I couldn't care less about these Target collaborations. I've learned long ago that it's a futile endeavor. Missoni For Target: The Sad & Sold Out In-Store Look |

I was just thinking about getting a new pillow, so this post couldn't be more timely. The down-filled one I'm currently using just isn't cutting it. I don't feel like I'm getting the support I really need. I move around a lot while I sleep, so it's difficult to pinpoint the exact pillow I should be using, though.
