If I got nothing else from economics class I will always keep in mind that things are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. So go ahead, put your item on craigslist and put whatever price you want on it. If its overpriced, it won't sell. If its not, it will. It's their stuff, they can sell it for what they want to sell it.

I can't take my eyes off of those peacock dishes. Anyone know anything about them?

I can't get over the dining room chairs dressed up like a kid in a last-minute halloween costume.

Have you thought about some shelving with accessories? Or a patterned wallcovering (or paint stripes)? I think a big potted plant might look nice as well. You could also lean some floor pillow in fun patterns up against the wall for additional seating.

I like the lighter feet, but I don't think I would like them gold. Maybe a contrasting stain?

I was going to paint the accent wall in my dining room black, JET black. I took a friend with me to pick out the paint and she convinced me that black was too black and to go with a charcoal grey. That charcoal grey we picked out ended up being a very dark blue once it got on the wall. Not at all what I was thinking. It doesn't look bad, but I can't help thinking that its not what I wanted, and I will never get around to repainting it before we move out.

I once moved my mini fridge from my dorm room to into my 2 door cavalier all by my lonesome. It was possibly one of the most physically taxing things I've done in my life.

I'm not single anymore, but I like to wait for my husband to leave the house, then I do my little projects by myself so he can't veto my decisions. His vote always slows progress to a halt and truth be told, I have great taste and once he sees the finished project, he always likes it. :)

He is a wedding videographer, so Saturdays in the summer are game on.

Oh Jenn, I have the same exact item/problem, only mine is primary red. I was thinking of contact papering it in the next few weeks, and then if that doesn't work I was going to switch to paint. I don't think you can take it apart to re-cover it, or I would do that. I'll let you know how it goes, or if you do it first, let me know!
