I did much better finishing this weekend's chores than last weekend's! I have new flowers, cleaned the kitchen (and finished my back splash project: https://on10thst.wordpress.com/2014/01/12/january-cure-flowers-kitchen-cleaning-and-making-a-meal/), and prepared meals. Hopefully this will serve as my motivation & inspiration for the rest of the week.

I didn't quite finish with all the floors, but I did get all the holiday decorations put away and I bought my first bouquet of flowers.

Nothing like a January cure to get the year off on the right foot! I'm going to try to use blogging as a way to keep myself on track. https://on10thst.wordpress.com/2014/01/03/january-cure-create-a-project-list/ I've also found reading other people's lists inspirational, so thank you all for sharing.

I've finished with my teeny nook project. It's cleaner and more organized. The best part is that I actually use the space! My after pictures can be seen here. I'm excited to check out everyone's posts!

I just did something similar - I attached soft velcro to the back of a printed dish towel (Tikoli mummy2) and then attached the the corresponding velcro to magnetic tape. The magnetic tape holds onto the circuit box and removes easily. It makes the stairwell look so much better!

I got a White Lotus mattress (the Dreamton) in January and it's been fantastic. It's cotton & wool, doesn't need a boxspring, and the cost was better than I had expected to spend on a mattress. I find it very comfortable. There are locations at which to test out the mattress, but I couldn't get to one in my area, so I ordered a sample (which earns a discount when purchasing an actual mattress) before I decided on the mattress. The Dreamton did look skinny, at first, compared to my old mattress, but it's been great to sleep on. No complaints.

I've had the 10-inch one for about six months and I absolutely love cooking with it. It also cleans up so easily!
