I remember reading a post saying the breed of my rabbit was a popular fur and meat breed. While we won't be eating her, when rabbits that decided to harvest my garden for me, neither my husband or I have a problem with making Essex Fried Rabbit. No, that article didn't bother me either. To each his own purpose.

Since my husband is an artist, it is mostly his work that is on my walls. However I agree with DodieGoldney. Painting over a non-original piece of work is fine. If you do have an original piece, you can 1) give it back to the artist [most will be fine with this]; 2) donate it; 3) loan it to a library or someplace non-profit; 4) give it as a White Elephant exchange or a gift to someone with whom you aren't the closest.

Newspaper sounds like a great idea. It can be used as fire support when the winter cleaning comes. :)

I would love to know what does work. I still have the original 1920's windows on my house and unfortunately I can't find any screens that will fit! We are currently the favorite cool place for the bugs of the neighborhood.

I would love to give these to my Slovak sister-in-law.

Since all the daughters-in-law in my husband's family are going to be with their families for Christmas, we fully decorated the house this year the day after Thanksgiving to get it ready for the Christmas dinner on Sat. Otherwise we tend to wait until 2 weeks before Christmas to buy a tree.

I am so excited that there are recipes that are mayo free. I like mayo but since having my gall bladder removed I can't eat it.

If you are on a really tight budget: tuna, ramen noddles (not spice), a little balsamic vinegar and olive oil. It is a great easy cheap tuna pasta salad.

Mostly balsamic vinegar with just enough oil to stick to the food. I love vinegar. My husband laughs because I have no issues eating just vinegar on any food and sometimes a shot of plain apple cider vinegar.

I agree the bathroom is a little crowded but I would take a bathroom with 2 standard windows (without the window bars that were put on apartments) and that simplicity any day.

I don't remember if it makes a room look smaller to have dark paint on the walls, but chocolate brown is a much better choice than pink in my opinion. What about getting another shade of green and play with various shades of green in the room?

I think it looks great! I am not for the color coordinating books but it looked very cheerful.

To me it depends. Some foods just go together but in general I like to eat things individual. I do have to agree, eating your favorite part of each meal first does guarantee that you will be full by the time you reach your not-most-favorite part.

Not sure what we are eating yet. We have been a little under the weather so it will probably be decided about mid-morning. Where in the South do you live, Nenasadije? I wish we had a farmers market we could go to. Thanks for the ideas, guys!

I agree, Wally3. If you want to have a cruelty-free rug (or an item) just get something nice looking and don't resemble what they are suppose to not be.

I think this is something that can be done if necessary and/or it has been done before and done correctly. This would not work for my husband and me right now. 1) We both work 2 jobs and our home-together dinner schedule isn't always the same and 2) I only have 1 day to cook for the entire week unless I am willing to let my husband fry everything in butter.

Growing up I would get a rash and start itching if I had any dairy products. Chocolate would even cause a problem. Soy/rice milk and carob were my only option. Since my husband and I don't want children right now and I am taking the "medicine" to help in that area, I have been able to drink about 1 glass of milk a day to every other day. With the extra hormones I am just intolerant not fully allergic. I agree with 86themilk, it is easier to tell the wait staff that I have allergies to food (pork and dairy) than and intolerance.

This is where my sister-in-law and I are a great combination. I hate the florets and she hates the stalks so together we eat the entire broccoli. I have always been the weird one in my family but there is never any part of the broccoli uneaten.

I have to agree with Sassydo. I love books but I want windows and openness when I am in bed.

There have been times when he has slept on the couch. Both of us love our bed so we usually stay in bed but sleep as far apart as possible. I tend to fall asleep sooner than he does but I wake up in the middle of the night to his snoring and am able to give him a good kick, which helps me feel better. (I know it sounds mean but most nights I am rubbing his back before we go to sleep.)
