coffee plunger, coffee, teas, honey, mints, trail mix, fruit, crackers, yoghurt, oats, juice, sparkling mineral water, snow peas, haighs peppermint chocolate frogs - i need my stuff.

my work provides all cutlery, s & p, dishes, black tea, milk etc. including sharp knives. there's also an oven we can use.

i can't fathom working in an office that didn't trust its employees with kitchen knives...sounds like being in prison.

there's an error in the second point above. it should read 'don't WEAR crocs.'

just because you can clean something in the dishwasher doesn't mean you should. i always offer to help stack the dishwasher when i'm a guest at a dinner party - if i saw a shoe in there, i'd probably gag. i'm a virgo - this whole idea stresses me.

i'm usually a neutral-fiend but i like the yellow striped rug much better. it's fun and makes you appreciate the lovely timber flooring.

if the rug was underneath the table you wouldn't notice where it's joined as much.

oh my - i did this recently. so spooky!! the chairs are a very similar shape too.. the results are on my blog ...

i would be horrified, but i'm uptight like that.

'make yourself comfortable' does not mean 'go through my stuff'

but, when i go visti my parent i often use their kitchen as if it's mine and watch whatever i want on tv...i'm still in my 20s so it still sorta feels like my house.

i like l'occitane candles but before i found those all of them smelt rank, strong and headachy to me.

i prefer to use good cold pressed lemon oil in a burner for fragrance. fresh and light and guaranteed no headaches..

put on a standup comedy cd/dvd while you're cleaning. it's hard to be grumpy when you're laffin'

clean up as you're cooking. means you've only got a few dishes at the end.

keep things tidy all the time - it's so much easier to clean when you don't spend the first half hour putting junk away.

buy a slicker brush for your pet. it removes lotsa hair.

it is annoying. i've been looking for a small dishwasher or a single dishdrawer style dishwasher and they're stupid expensive.
