AMAZING!! Your stuff is beautiful, your style is impeccable, and what you've done in such a small space is absolutely inspiring. That word gets overused, but it has been a long time since I've felt as inspired as I did while looking at your home.

You have an amazing eye. Also, I like your shoes and your dog is really cute. That shot of you in the hammock is excellent also; we get a peep at the person who has superpowers in decorating, as well as superpowers for hovering lightly above a picturesque backdrop in a stylish hammock.

Style superhero!!

I love the photo above; my first thought was "that is the freezer of someone who does not have kids!" Looks like my freezer six years ago. Now it is ice cube trays (we do still drink cocktails on occasion) jars full soup stock, a variety of juices, frozen tubes of yogurt, popsicles, bags of fruit and veggies, precut veggies, frozen pizzas, some chicken, bananas for banana bread, pumpkin for pumpkin bread... its a clustercuss in there!

I already use a jar with a handle, and when I want to drink my coffee, I just take the lid off. I like this idea! I wouldn't have to fiddle with the lid.

Ugly to amazing!! All you would need to seal that wood backsplash would be a few coats of poly. No big deal, and it would only cost a few bucks!

I like this idea! I'm not sure if I'll do it, but the concept is useful. If I could find freezer containers that I could stick my wand blender into and then serve directly out of, I'd really be set.

This makes me worry!! Magnets are a SAFETY HAZARD. If one falls on the floor and baby swallows it, that is a trip to the emergency room (unless it is a single, weak magnet and passes through).

Amazing, cool idea, but I would use it for older kids.

Or, a tray under the board would be perfect for catching magnets that might fall. A metal shelf would be even better, since magnets would stick to it.

My daughter loves to blow out candles. She always has! When she was two and a half I would let her blow out a candle while she sat on the potty, and I would relight it and let her blow it out a bunch more times if she went! It was a better motivator than candy and made going potty a positive experience. As she got more into going, I let her blow out a candle every time after she went. It really motivated her.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! I am IN AWE. The before pictures literally made my jaw drop - the transformation of the inside and outside of your home is unbelievable. We remodeled our place by ourselves so I can appreciate the incredible amount of work you have done!! I've never seen a pet oriented space that didn't look like a pet oriented space. What an incredible exercise in efficiency, beauty, good taste and ingenuity. And those bathrooms took my breath away. You should be extremely proud!!

IKEA. We had a bunch of different rugs, including a high quality wool one, and nothing beats the cheap, synthetic ikea rugs. They're soft, dont show stains, vaccum clean in a flash, and hold up to spot cleaning. I feel stupid for wasting money on nicer rugs. Someday we will have a crazy nice expensive rug, but til then, with dogs and kids, its ikea all the way.

We have the Lusy rug in our kids' room, and it rocks. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70151707

Oh, and I should mention - it actually looks like the little kid the party is for enjoyed the party! Awesome. So many of these are just for the pictures; this looks real.

Finally, a "my party" post that doesn't make me cringe at the ridiculous fussiness of everything! This looks cute, well thought out, handmade and hey - actually fun! No giant candy display, no evidence of having to get a babysitter just to prep for the party. Just beautiful, tasteful sweetness. Love it.

I'd say sell it or store it. That thing is an accident waiting to happen. Coffee tables are kind of stupid anyway. We have a blu dot one that works well for crafts and activities, but even it is pointy and catches toes.

If you don't want to print out a checklist and spend two and a half hours cleaning your sink, just do what I do.

Take some dishwasher detergent that has chlorine bleach in it. I know, I know, chlorine bleach is bad, but I keep one bottle of this stuff around and it lasts for over a year.

Squirt a quarter sized amount of it onto a wet sponge - rub the sponge all over the sink. Let it sit for a few minutes, then brush the sink out with s scrub brush and hot water. Use a clean rag and white vinegar to clean the surrounding surfaces.

This technique keeps my ancient porcelain sink white and sparkly.
