The new butcher block looks good and I like the cabinet paint color. I always find double hung windows over sinks to be really problematic, I can't ever seem to get the open without climbing up into the sink!
I probably would have saved a bit of the budget to fix the missing crown in the 'dining' area.

I once dated a guy that had an oil painting of dogs playing poker. I suggested we move it elsewhere and he told me he had 'commissioned it' ............. from his mom.
Broke up about a month later.

I love dutch sandwiches. My grandma used to make us hagelslag sandwiches. Essentially chocolate sprinkles, butter, bread...maybe a little sprinkling of sugar if we were good.

There's the guy in LA who sells macrame plant baskets 'OMG! Owls!!!' with a herman miller tag. 'OMG Annoying.'

The interior white paint is Porter's Original Paints in Pireaus. No VOC and beautiful depth. All exterior paints are ben moore.
