I agree with #5. I always fill my sink up with hot, soapy water whenever I am in the kitchen creating a meal. Cleaning as I bake or cook was something my grandmother taught me. Thanks for these helpful tips.

I made cured chorizo stuffed in dates then wrapped in bacon. I baked until the bacon was crispy. This was a big hit at one of my cocktail parties.

I made these for my cocktail last Saturday and they were a big hit! I made two batches, froze them and then baked the entire batch an hour before guests arrived. Thank you for posting this recipe!!!!

Does anyone recall a wall graphic of a silhouette of a man shooting a gun, kind of a like James bond-esque, with the words Bang! Bang!? I saw it once a while ago and can't locate this graphic anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same problem as you. I have three large windows in the back of my condo and the sun just beats on them during the hot Arizona summers. What I did was purchase a retractable awning. It blocks like 90 percent of the sun and helps cool your patio and you can roll it up during the winter. But those can be pricey. So, what I did before I purchased an awning was buy one of those inexpensive plastic blinds from the home improvement store and hung them outside in front of the windows. That helped a lot and it kept the heat from the sun off the windows which kept my place much cooler. Hope this helps.

My grandmother gave me a baseball bat over 12 years ago when I moved into my first apartment. To this day I still have it. Now I live in a new condo with a a security system and dog but he would most likely lick and jump all over the intruder rather than scare him or her away. I still have my bat but I have now upgraded to a retractable police baton. It's small enough to keep in a drawer and small enough to carry in my pocket when I walk my dog.

I use my shower curtain. Just push the rod half way into the shower area and place all your wet clothes on the rod to dry. Or, you can use an inexpensive tension rod for curtains as a trying line in your shower. Very simple and very affordable.
