That's a great idea! We used an old enamel-topped kitchen work table as a changing table, and it worked out great. Just put a changing pad on it and never left them unattended. Now it works as a desk in my son's room now that he's older.

Yes, from Wal-Mart of all Evil Places, but hey - I figure if there's the large possibility my son will barf/pee/whatever else on his bedding during childhood I don't want to spend a fortune on it. The commenters on the site love it and it is very similar to a Pottery Barn comforter that sells for much more $$$. If this link doesn't help you maybe it will help someone else looking for bedding. In person the set looks great!

Yeah, um...this is weird.

We bought one for something like $14.99 near the shower accessories area at Home Depot - it's marketed as a sprayer for washing dogs. It connects to the showerhead, so would probably only work if your shower is close to the toilet. (And could probably connect to the toilet with a few extra plumbing doodads, I suppose.) It's rare for my kiddo to have a solid poop (sorry if you're eating and reading this) so the sprayer has been invaluable. Also comes in handy for washing the dog, too!

Does anyone know where I can get a changer like that to fit on top of a crib? That looks like a great organizational solution in our new baby's bedroom!

I think they're a pretty cool idea! And with the straps on, I don't see how they would fall over or anything.

Nice idea -- but I think I have too many bags to fit even in one of those. After I had my son I got a buttload of "it's a boy!" themed gift bags, so now I'm all about it whenever somebody I know has a boy. Anyone out there want to trade for some nice, generic happy birthday ones or something?

I like this! I have approximately one zillion doilies from my late grandmother and they've been sitting in a box for the last few years.
