I used to have a bathroom that looked just like this, but putting things on the walls was not an option at the time. Simple solution? I bought a black dupioni curtain panel, and used Steam-A-Seam for a no-sew sink skirt, complete with inverted box pleats. (It looked sooo sharp!) To attach it to the sink, I used adhesive-backed velcro, which peeled off easily when I was ready to move. Adding Storage to a Vintage Bathroom |

I'm waiting for the Trading Spaces-esque ideas to start rolling in. But seriously, I'd leave it as-is without any faux fixes. Having to look at it every day until you can afford the switch will be the strongest incentive you have to save every extra penny and get rid of it asap. How To Disguise Acoustic Tile Drop Ceiling? Hmm...my home has three of the exact same lamps pictured, in addition to the kitchen soap dispenser and mirror above your sofa. And yet my place doesn't look nearly as cohesive as this. Great work! Steve & Jeremy's Contemporary Comfy Chic House Tour |

Thanksgiving leftovers are the best! I've made dinner for 1-2 before, but always made at least 6 servings of everything so that I could enjoy the holiday a few extra days. :) (And they freeze well!) How Can I Make a Solo Thanksgiving Special? Good Questions |
