I'm living in an old builing where bathrooms have been added (welcome in France!) which means they are extremely small.

Mine is so tiny that I had no other choice than using an Ikea Benno DVD tower to store make up, hair brushes and other small things.

We moved in almost a year ago and I hid my bedroom's light-bulb with a 4 € Pier1 umbrella.
It's still there and gives a nice touch of color since tha walls ar still white.

In France, traditional reupholstery uses "crin vegetal", which could be translated as "vegan horse hair". This stuffing is made out of a palm/coconut tree.

It's used as the main stuffing, topped with cotton padding (flannel like), then plain cotton just before nailing the actual fabric to the wood.

they're not fiving you an attitude because you're not French, since they act the same with French people...

but one of the best brocante may not be in Paris but in l'Ile sur la Sorgue on Sundays (note : lots of English spoken on these days)
