My kid is bathed in the sink regularly by his grandmother, even at 18 months. She refuses to even think about bending over and to be honest, the sink contains him a lot better. He doesn't try to stand up in it like he does in the tub.

Most of these accessories are pretty unnecessary. You usually don't realize it until they start growing cobwebs in the corner of your house.

I think the article makes it clear that this is for medical use. Especially since it only works with a specific type of phone. A lot of doctors warn against at-home things like this because it causes a lot of unnecessary worry when someone, as mentioned above, doesn't know what they're looking at or for and panic for no reason.

I think it's an awesome tool for doctor's offices.

Elisha, I'm sure this is more for those who don't use bumpers period but want the difference in design aspect. Some people still gladly use bumpers with no issues, so I doubt Skip*Hop would want to give up that market entirely (especially since only 30% of the customers wanted to go bumper-less).

If you're worried about keeping your little ones legs/arms inside without the whole suffocation issue... try a breathable bumper.

My unborn son is getting the one language per parent treatment. My co-parenting partner in crime is Mexican born and will be speaking only Spanish to him. We already have quite the collection of Spanish books. One of our favorites is the Spanish version of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!
