I love everything about this room...except for the rug. Overall, that's an easy thing to fix though! I love the pale green contrasted with the bright poppy red color. Laurence & Beth's "Excitingly Calm" Room |

So how long does it take for a submission to be approved? I've been waiting for approval (somewhat impatiently) for several days now...and I really think my living room is worthy! :) Enter NOW: The Room for Color Contest 2011 |

Yay! This is totally my kind of place. I'm not normally a fan of orange, but I love what you've done with it. I also dig all the Marimekko stuff! Amanda's Retrolicious Headquarters House Tour | Apartment Therapy DC |

I agree with the above statements about folk artistry, as well as those about the giant Jesus. I like the murals, and even most of the religious art, especially the nude and the bathtub Buddha. Apartment Therapy New York | House Tour: Anisa's Eclectic Shrine Pretoria, South Africa |

Add me to the list of folks who adore the bathroom tile. It's lovely and artsy, but also quite accessible. Nice work! :) Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Renè's Bright and Sunny Artistic Home! House Tour |

I admire the use of the card catalog cabinet in the dining room, and of course the photography is stunning! Overall though, I must say that the utter lack of color makes me dreary. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Emily Jacob's Poetically Photographed Home House Tour |

Amy, the colorizing of the Pez collection is the most amazing thing I've seen in a long time. Kudos to you for making these difficult-to-display collectibles a major design element! Apartment Therapy Boston | Amy's Apartment: Collections of Color House Tour |

Oooh, I'd love to see an update with photos of this fireplace. I'm glad folks were able to talk you out of painting that slate! I'm not 100% opposed to painting brick or other architectural features, but this really would have been a shame to paint. Apartment Therapy New York | NY Good Questions: Can I Paint Slate? |

Anyone can take care of snake plants, AKA cast iron plants. They thrive on neglect. No excuse for not having at least one plant when this is such an easily available option! :) Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Question: Fake Flowers or Nothing? Austin |

I dig the subway and penny tiles, and kudos for choosing an unusual color for them! I personally would've put a door or curtain to protect the shelves from view and from water, but that's just me. Apartment Therapy New York | House Call: Katherine's Red Bathroom New York |

I have several IKEA pieces, including my sofa and coffee table, and pretty much everything in my office. Let's face it: the Expedit shelves are perfect. Why be ashamed of them? Apartment Therapy New York | Is Your Home an IKEA Catalog? |

I think draperies, upholstered cornices, or perhaps the rug idea above would be great uses for this. I share everyone's concerns about the flaking for things like upholstered furniture though. Not to mention that seems like it wouldn't feel very comfortable to the touch. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Would You Ever Paint Your Fabric Furniture? |

I agree with Squirrely. It looks cluttered and I expect you'll have to wash the dust off of every item when it comes time to use it. Installing a cabinet or even shelves in this space would be a much better use of space and time. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | How To Create a Wall of Spoon Hooks February Jumpstart Project 2009 |
