I hate having a rug in the kitchen for the dirt factor, but standing on the bare hard floor makes my heels hurt after awhile.

I've found that regular cream cheese holds up better in certain things- like tortilla roll-ups or pumpkin cream pie. Because of the lower fat, the neufchatel doesn't get as firm when chilled and makes these types of items messier. I really can't taste much of a difference so my decision is based on what I'm using it for.

Mac and cheese for sure. I hide them in the back of the pantry and then burry the empty box in the garbage when I have them. haha.

I used to love cold spaghetti o's right from the fridge (the smell of heated ones grossed me out), but have managed to resist for years since I stopped eating HFCS. The few comments above just reminded me of how yummy they were.

If only I had seen this earlier today. I was just holding a spaghetti squash at the veggie market 30 minutes ago and decided to put it back because nothing that sounded good came to mind!

I wish this kind of thing were available for purchase online. The little things I'd like to buy from Ikea are never worth the 2-3 hour drive.

the mind of Sue- thank you for sharing the corn cake recipe! I worked at Don Pablos through college and took a few recipes with me when I left but the corn cake came pre-made so I never knew what was in it. I literally gasped out loud when I saw this- haha. Can't wait to share it with a friend who loves this stuff.

I've heard of someone drilling a small hole in the top of the wet jet bottle and refilling it with a funnel. They then plugged the hole with a small piece of towel to prevent any spilling due to incidental sloshing. As long as you store it up right, I feel like this could work.

I love my pie iron for cooking over the fire.

I use them to make grilled sandwiches, veggie burgers, grilled burritos, omelets, any kind of sweet or savory pockets with crescent roll dough... I'm sure you can find plenty of recipe ideas if you google for it.

I saw this bedding at the JCP near me- Originally $100 for the Queen/Full Duvet, on sale for $35.

Cinnamon raisin bread with american cheese. mmm. I haven't bought american cheese in a really long time. It started becoming difficult to find something that was called "cheese" vs "cheese food". haha.

I found some spritzer heads for plastic bottles at Walmart last year.... but they came with a bottle so it didn't really allow for any recycling of the bottles I had.

I have a couple dressers from my great grandmother. They aren't in the best of shape (some of the laminate wood is peeling/chipping off in a few areas) but they're pretty and seem to hold clothes pretty well.

I have a tiny knock-off version that's the perfect size for two burgers. It's the best thing I've found for veggie burgers because I like them a little crispy. And it's small enough that I can just put it away in the cabinet when I'm finished.

I have the sateen version and love them. I've had no issues with them pilling but the top sheet is difficult to keep in place as someone else mentioned.

Often not, I agree. I've had one rag rug for about 5 years now that's been just fine in the wash about once a month (no idea on the brand). Every other one I try falls apart after a few washes. And I'd really rather not spend much on a rug that goes in the utility room under the cat box.

Does anyone know how well these hold up to washing? I'm looking for a cheap rug that can hold up in the wash.
