Square plates are the move! My mom bought my sister and I Fortuna dinnerware in white. We both use the dessert plates the most because it controls the portions we serve. Lovely. Unlike some of the people who commented on replacing the old bathroom, I think she made the right choice. The tile and sink looked dingy. If those fixtures/sink were there as long as the pullman kitchen (1928), it was time to update. Although I would have chose a different sink and fixture, it still looks fab! Love the tile! I call it going balls out. I have ball ornaments all over the place. I place holiday balls in every glass martini, bowl, pitcher in my étagère. I racked up on sets of mirrored ornament disco balls at the 99 cents store and they add a nice touch. I also put up 4 trees of different sizes and colors. So sleek! My daughter's charger broke so she is now using my charger. She also misplaced her ipod charger! Each time I have to charge my phone and/or ipod, I have to look for it in her room (under the bed, in piles of clothes, etc.). It drives me mad! I can only think of all the spats my daughter I would avoid if I won! Win the Refresh Charging Station from Bluelounge! The day after Thanksgiving is when I usually go Christmas Crazy. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday but decorating for Christmas is something that I love to do and probably the only thing I enjoy about the holidays. Since I am Puerto Rican, I like to keep in tradition and take everything down after Jan. 6 which is 3 kings day in PR. Everything goes down on the 7th. Happy Thanksgiving! I have a similar window. I used the KVARTAL window treatment system from IKEA. It was inexpensive and easy to install. I purchased the panels from IKEA but you can use your own fabrics for a more customized look. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/range/10374/13289/ Charmedseed is right: use a masonary bit and lead anchors. The kitchen and bathroom are great. I couldn't get used to the small sleeping area. Two dogs in such a little space! That is amazing. I agree with Cakekick. If you could DIYem, keep them. I think once you see the fruits of your labor (on the cheap), you will fall in love with them all over again. Love it. Left me wanting to see more. I think the girls sharing a king size bed is sweet. I remember sharing a full size bed with my older sister when we were 8 and 11 and until we were teens.
