simple changes to be sure, but the biggest thing would be to hide the litterbox inside something larger to keep litter from being flung hither and yon (I know from experience). I agree with Depechie a ModKo version would be great but there are lots of others out there. Or heck, just hit up Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/search/?q=litterbox

nope, you're not as OCD as you think. I like everything at my fingertips, so I too store my OTC meds in the order I use them most...as well as most of my other types of toiletries and beauty products...and I alphabetize my CDs (soup? not just yet) Also reusing pop up cleaner containers for your plastic bags; using one big brown bag to store your other brown bags; and attaching a dowel inside my one of my bathroom cabinets to hold a roll of paper towels so I don't have to run to the kitchen each time. Also, as I'm an iced coffee fanatic, I make a big strong batch ahead of time (great recipe here: http://tinyurl.com/3evn7d3) and store it in the fridge...then I can just pour and go!

I live in an apartment, and cannot change much about it, so the three things that stick out right now are:
-those ugly Victorian-esque type combo ceiling fan/lights...usually in brass or gold
-Faux wood cabinets and cupboards
-Apartment carpeting--that shaggy, nasty, dirty, medium brown, dust collecting dirt magnet! I have two cats, so you can imagine how much time I spend vacuuming. Horrible.

and another 3 for extra credit:
-Knotty pine anything
-popcorn ceilings

Sorry but I live in Dallas. In the summer my essentials are:

Air conditioning
Fewer clothes
Full body antiperspirant
More air conditioning
The eternal search for parking in the shade
Cold drinks
Colder air conditioning
105 excuses not to venture outside when it's 105 in the shade.
The agonizingly painful wait till October when it finally cools off.
