I don't believe parents remove the bumpers. Too much to put on and take off but I agree, no bumpers for the first 6 months of life (at the very least).

I'm impressed by how neat they have kept the apartment with a new baby but I'm sure it doesn't look like this every day. I love the home and I think the nursery is absolutely beautiful but let's be real, when you have a baby, everything is turned upside down! Good luck with keeping it neat as she grows older! You may need to rid of the glass coffee table. Scary!

I appreciate the fact they this person is trying but I have a few comments: Needs a better light fixture, get rid of those blinds and add drapes, get rid of the extra coffee table, need color on the walls and some throw pillows.

We are not concerned with the heat burning up the cabinets. Our GC has worked with these cabinets before and we feel very comfortable with it. We've been cooking on it for a couple of weeks now and all seems to be going well. As for the microwave, it does not vent outside, it just recirculates the air. Thanks for asking!

Hi Regcol, our cabinets are from Ikea and so was the counter top. It's the Abstrakt line (in a white gloss). We are so pleased with them. Even our GC said we chose well. So happy with the result!!
