I LOVE Otto. Every time I am in NYC I pay it a visit, and the little bowls of vegetables are my favorite! Last fall I had the yummiest cauliflower. I will definitely be giving this a try.

I studied her portfolio the other day and was so impressed, beautiful stuff, and I would kill for that job.

I own an IKEA wardrobe and love it, but it's fairly large! I agree on the rolling rack idea - I LOVE rolling racks. If it were appropriate in my home, I would totally have one exposed.

For large dinners I often make the mustard-crusted pork loin from Sunday Suppers. It's delicious!

For appetizers, I love making homemade hummus, baba ganoush and muhammara paired with crudités and toasted pita.

Darn, had I know you were covering this, I would have sent in a photo of my parent's closet-desk. They converted the closet in my old room into a desk last year, hiring the same man who worked on constructing the house. It's all built in but easy to remove in case they ever sell and the closet is needed. It's great!

I agree with Jess. AT just posted about a bookcase as a room divider, this would be awesome between the living room and sleeping area.

Joy Of Cooking is indispensable for basic, quality recipes. I think Alice Water's The Art Of Simple Food is a good tool for learning how little food needs to taste good.

MS's book is great if you need visual direction.

Another alternative to mayo in Deviled Eggs? Mustard.

I am ADDICTED to mustard and dislike mayo, so when we make Deviled Eggs I always do a little mini batch using mustard and a dash of cayenne :-)

I own an IKEA wardrobe and I've loved it so far. It's not small, however.

We totally own these. One table, two chairs and a bench for the porch. We've loved them!

I have a question, do artists such as Orignaux Moose usually attain the rights for pieces like "All Is Full Of Love"?

I only ask because I work for a company who produces text-driven product and the rules are fairly strict, especially around people (i.e. we can't quote them freely until they've been dead for 50 years) and song lyrics.

The prints are lovely, I am just curious because as we see so many artists emerging on sites like Etsy and I wonder if perhaps the rules are different.

I would guess late 50's early 60's because of the red (reminds me of Vreeland) but I went for 60's - thinking it's probably late 60's to early 70's, because of the wood.

This is such a great question, one that I've asked myself. I only recently started using a dutch oven, and I am not much of a meat eater. I agree that braised vegetables is a good option, and the only other meals I can think of are light soups and using the oven to roast chicken, which (for me at least) is less intimidating than other meats.

I've always used binder clips for smaller pieces, but this is brilliant! I have the SF Ork poster, which is a square format and won't work as well with the hangers, but I will definitely be giving this a go with a more elongated piece.

Rustic and, more importantly, expandable! I wish we could go more modern, but we live in a highwater craftsman and it wouldn't quite fit.

As much as I think color-coordinating books is visually pleasing, I could never bring myself to do it.

A happy compromise might be to split your books out into warm and cool tones on either side of of your fireplace.

I love the paint, and your apartment looks lovely.
