I love Dry Fly, a local distillery in Spokane WA (yea I live here) http://www.dryflydistilling.com/ They make an awesome smooth gin from local wheat, and juniper berries! It's a good overall gin, smooth, not to tangy and balanced. Best Liquors: What Is Your Favorite Gin — and Why? |

A fav around my home is to cut them into strips, and throw the strips into a pan, once they get crispy add some scrambled eggs and sometimes a little cheese is good to. Nice basic and easy to dress up. What Can I Do With Leftover Flour Tortillas? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I never put my avacados in the fridge.. they go bad FAST there... they seem to like the counter top fine. And if they are hard I just put them in a brown bag with a banana. Tip: How To Remember Where to Store Fruits and Veggies | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I have been using one of these for years. My father-in-law insists that it's the best choice as the electric ones have so much kinetic energy as to 'over roast' your beans. A Coffee Grinder That Uses No Electricity | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

Don't bother buying microwave popcorn. Use regular popcorn in a small paper bag. Sprinkle with seasonings and POP! (1/4 cup un-popped for about 5 min) until the pops are about 2-3 seconds apart. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | How Should We Use This Microwave? |

We had them in our pantry! Poop everywhere! We pulled out everything, anything in boxes or not 100% sealed containers was tossed/composted. Found the entry hole and filled it with expandable foam. Tried traps, got 1, tried glue, got 0, cats didn't help too much. They were living in the insulation. Finally we bought poison. Blocked off that whole section of the house from cats for 6 months. Replaced all shelving and walls, painted and scrubbed every other surface. We haven't had a problem since and it's been over 2 years. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Mice In the Kitchen! I learned from my father and his father. You take your chicken wash it then sprinkle the whole exterior with season salt (peprika, salt, garlic powder, chili powder), then some Mrs Dash type stuff on the inside. Tye the legs together and place it breast down, (so that the jucies flavor the white meat) straight onto your hot bbq over a nice bead of coals. No turning nessicary if you get the temp around 300/350 and let it cook till it falls apart. The skin is super crispy and the meat is juicy and smokey. I introduced my anti-brussle-sprout fmaily to a new style! I shred the little cabbage heads (like cole-slaw style) and throw them in a frying pan with just enought EVOO to lightly coat the pan. Stirring constantly I add lemon juice right before I put them on the serving platter. I consider them done when they are just starting to turn bright green and I plate them immeaditaly to halt the cooking process. It was requested that I add garlic to th next batch but regardless everyone even the picky eaters loved them! Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | What Is Your Favorite Recipe for Brussels Sprouts? |
