I like the paint job of #1. I'm not a big fan of purple so I don't love #2 but that is just me. IMO these transformations are just so-so. The switch in furniture helps with the transformations but I don't feel like the interiors are amazing. #1 would pop with more stuff or at least a different rug and coffee table. #2 just looks ikea esque... Don't get me wrong, I like both the interiors. They are nice. They are not amazing and inspirational which is why I come to AT. I deal with it. Dyson Animal. If you have just a standard vacuum you used pre-pets, you should invest in one of these. I got my 2 cats from SFSPCA and two weeks later my boyfriend and I realized there was fur accumulating in every nook and cranny and our vacuum just wasn't sucking it up. I just moved to Brooklyn from the SF Bay Area. I'm surprised Brooklyn Flea is on here. Alameda Point Antique Faire DOMINATES over that thing (the scale and selection aren't even comparable).... Took me like an hour to go through it all and even then like you said the price tags ;(. It would be cheaper to fly to California and just go to Alameda and ship your antiques back! I'm used to sleeping with siblings so I prefer other bodies in the bed. Haha my poor boyfriend he thought he was getting somewhere when I invited him to stay over one night. It was about 3 weeks of sharing the same bed before we got comfortable enough to fall asleep quickly and easily and comfortable with our bodies all up in a mash (on a dorm room twin no less). We feel a full size bed is just the right size for us (we are two medium sized asian people) but we have a queen sized comforter. I usually scoot myself as close to him as possible and hold him in my sleep so I don't need a lot of blanket. I like to sleep very warm. I have one knock off piece in my house (I actually bought it for the style before I even knew about mcm eames furniture). Now that I know there are the original designers and knock-offs I will try to buy some original pieces in the future BUT most likely not furniture or if it is furniture I would have to keep it in the bedroom. I have 2 rowdy cats who have lovingly scratched up (not on purpose) the side of my coffee table during their playtime. I refuse to pay $800 for something I know is going to get tarnished in a matter of weeks. Instead I may opt for a cheaper alternative that could easily be repleased within my income - if that is a second hand knock-off then why not?
