Margaret - I use an IKEA Hemnes shoe cabinet in the entryway and it's great! I can easily fit over a dozen pairs of flats and a couple heels in 1 of the 2 pull outs. My husband (who has size 15.5 feet) could fit about 6 pairs in his, if he had that many shoes. Best part is that it's out of sight and now we have a landing station for our keys and whatnot.

In my bedroom closet I use Like-It Shoe Space Savers which I bought at The Container Store. They're fantastic, all of the examples in this post would benefit from them - it stacks the shoes on top of each other nicely and doubles usable space while creating a nice looking display for your shoes.

I have a loveseat that looks almost exactly like the starter kit one! Same material/color, tufting and all! Got it for $65 at an estate sale though. :D
