Wow, really amazed that you guys make it all work in 420 square feet! I've always been a champion of smaller, more sustainable spaces, but that would be a challenge with two people and a dog and cat. You guys make it look effortless and stylish. I would've loved to have seen the kitchen as well. I love the layout of your space, and the fact that you have a bank of closets on the way to the bathroom. I think in such a small space, storage is key. My one hope is that you paint out that electrical panel : D Joe & Brad's Small Space with Big Style House Tour |

This makes great use of a small space. I especially love the smart upholstered furniture, and that great artwork in the bedroom! It looks like giant insect wings! Who is the artist? Cristina Thrives as an Expat in Hong Kong House Tour |

Such a charming and welcoming place! I love how everything has a lovely patina of history and use. All the disparate elements work to great effect together. I especially love the fireplace and the screen. Gorgeous. And I love the opium growing in the back yard : ) Andy & Andrew's Vintage Modern House Tour |

I love the black kitchen, especially in picture #4. I think it'd be great to do it in an application where you'd want the kitchen to recede or disappear altogether...like a small apartment or loft with an open floor plan Come to the Dark Side: Black Kitchens |

Most of the pictures here read navy, at least on my computer monitor. I find these dark walls sexy and would love to do this if I lived in a brighter area of the country. Trend Spotting: Black Walls |

I always feel like you should go neutral in a bath that is used regularly, like an en suite. I reserve all my craziness and color for the powder room, which I feel can take more color and personality without much commitment. Paint makes a huge difference w/o any hard construction or much money. Don'ts Worth Doing: Design Ideas from Hotel Bathrooms |

I always spend money on good art. I figure I'll go through several sofas and mattresses in my lifetime, but I will never get tired of artwork that I adore. Biggest Indulgences: What Did You Pay Full Price For? |

Fantastic space! I love their art collection and how it is displayed everywhere in the space. The kitchen and bathroom remodel is great, and I especially love how they added fixed glass panels around the tub in the bathroom - a modern and clean solution to shower curtains. @Jose A, I have the Ikea curtain track, and I can't say that I'm too impressed with them. The curtains don't move very smoothly along the track, especially if you have two tracks joined together, and it doesn't feel very solid. The one point that it has going for it is that it's cheap. Now that I know about these hospital curtain tracks, I may have to re-do my bedroom windows. And I'm assuming that if they're designed for hospital use, they're more durable than the Ikea track. I don't think this arrangement is supposed to look like it's a considered and expensive collection. I think it's charming that it looks like posters, tear sheets and drawings that the owner loves. After all, you'll be the one looking at it everyday, and if the images have special resonance and meanings to the owner, then it makes that room all the more personal. I love the imperfections and casualness of it all. Rooms should be for living, not curating. How to Hang an Art Collection Style by Emily Henderson |

The pink tub which is a non-standard size, so replacing it would be almost custom, costly and require lots of demolition around it. We've elected to get it professionally painted in the future, which involves toxic chemicals and one night away from home. Also, the lack of natural light is a problem. I love bathrooms that are bright and have a natural light source from either a skylight or window. What Drives You Crazy In Your Bathroom? Reader Survey |

I love the idea of bold color and pattern for drama in a guest bathroom, but for an everyday bathroom where I get dressed for work, I have a hard time seeing color correctly on clothing, etc when there is a lot of reflected color in the room. This is why I generally prefer whites and neutrals in the everyday bath and color in the guest bath. Color Therapy: Bold and Beautiful Bathrooms |

Love subway tile, and I especially love how in the first picture, they hung two glass doors on a hinge instead of a curtain....such a clean and modern look juxtaposed with the subway tile. Subway Tile In The Bathroom |

I love this look and thinks it looks best when it looks like someone just casually threw up a random collection up on the wall, when in actuality, it took lots of time composing the pieces to best effect. I like mixing and layering high art, low art and poster pieces, and think it looks best when the frames are all different. For me, I tend to acquire larger pieces that are difficult to arrange in this manner without some smaller pieces. How to Hang an Art Collection Style by Emily Henderson |

We have a small galley kitchen in our condo with precious little counter space. We were thinking of going with two side-by-side under counter refrigerators, but couldn't find exactly what we were looking for in our budget. At one point, we were thinking of doing four under counter refrigerator drawers, but we would miss the storage space. We ended up going with a 24" wide, counter-depth Northland refrigerator. The compressor is on top, so that frees up as much space inside as a larger traditional refrigerator. Under Counter Refrigerators: Yay or Nay? |
