Is that fireplace even legal?? Because when an ember sets the livingroom on fire, the first thing you want in flames is the staircase with your kids upstairs, I guess.

I'd seal it off properly, so it doesn't continue to suck the heat and air conditioning out of the house, and sheetrock over it.

I just noticed this......unless your coffeemaker has never made coffee, I don't believe you have ever made, drank, or served tea from one.

Black and White. A white shower curtain with a black design. A big long runner or rug in B&W. Paint the window frame gloss black. I can't see the sink, but if it's a cabinet you can paint, gloss black. Any picture frames in black with white mats. Any "furniture" in black.
White for containers, towels.

This is incredibly silly. Are the non-washers throwing away their cutting boards, knives, marinade dishes, etc for fear of rinsing them before putting in the dishwasher or washing by hand??

We're bringing home plenty of chicken and meat juice just by going to the grocery store, btw. I worked at one for ten years.....most people do not put their drippy meat packages in plastic bags. They drip all over the shopping carts and the checklanes. I won't mention how unsanitary children are...

Think about that when you put your unbagged bananas, melons, broccoli, in your cart. Or when you put your orange juice carton in the fridge when you get home.

That fabric is sideways in opposite directions, or is it just me?

Funny how hosts assume that their guests are actually washing their hands after using the toilet, or haven't picked up something disgusting on their clothes after riding the subway, taking a taxi.

What do you do when your guest hands you a bottle of wine they bought at the store where they touched the filthy door and handled filthy money.

And now they're handling your serving spoons!

But I guess it's fair....they're spreading all kinds of funk around your house, even without shoes........but they get to take home all your sweaty feet and dog funk.
