etsy is essentially a craft site. craft has always tended to stray towards cutesy.

much of the stuff on etsy makes me want to puke. i think the ant idea is great, however.

if you don't like it - go make yourself a cup of chamomile tea with your non-dated china instead.

i really love the atmosphere of this place. wonderful.

the floor tiles in the kitchen are gorgeous. are the coloured pieces separate tiles?

done great with a small space. some really beautiful details. i like the turquoise wall colour.

one piece of unsolicited advice - i think the dark brown floor rug in the bedroom is dragging the space down...i would rethink it.

i'm inclined to agree with theo and brandyjane.

if i was into displaying my politics so boldly in my home (which i'm not) i'd probably wait until he'd served as president for at least a term. getting elected was surely an epic achievement but the real work starts now.

the one with the unicorn, bare chest and roses is bloody awful.

also why is a hipster pillow telling me to be 'unadorned' when it is adorned with words.

no worries, i wanted to clarify because i think decorno's blog is fantastic and i am very grateful for all the responses i received from her post

i was very happy with the responses i received from decorno's site! i actually sent my question into AT quite a while ago and heard nothing. i thought i had been ignored so i sought decorno's advice after finding her blog (and falling in love with it) through the homie awards.

work hasn't started on the chairs yet. happy to hear more ideas and advice as i'm truly a novice when it comes to treating timber.
