I also used the tutorial from LGN and have tips: It is not for the faint of heart! I also had trouble stapling into pegboard. I ended up just taping each thread to the back of the board once I got it through the hole--which took a little bit of effort finding each hole through the foam with the needle. It has been finished for 2 months now and so far so good. I am sure the tape will weaken at some point but I can access it easily enough to fix that. Also, I would 1) enlist a friend to help you with the buttons. 2) break up the tufting into a few days especially if you have a lot. 3) look around for different places for the foam. I used a 50% off coupon at JoAnn Fabrics but it was still pricey. Then I found foam at Home Depot yesterday for about $30. It does look good, though, but Jenny makes things look TOO easy. Hope this helps!

A fountain would be SO cool: http://tatertotsandjello.com/2012/05/spruce-up-your-outdoor-space-with-a-diy-recirculating-fountain-tutorial-and-100-lowes-giveaway.html

I have no affiliation to that blog--I saw the entry the other day and thought it would be a great project.
