I grew up eating peanut butter, american cheese, jelly, and butter sandwiches. I really thought the B in PB&J was butter and was always confused about where the C was. This is interesting. I recently made some "cheese puffs" that had a lot of eggs and they really turned out to be more like quichey pancakes and I couldn't figure out what happened. They didn't really rise maybe I didn't incorporate enough air. I thought the batter was too liquidy too maybe that happened for the same reason. When I am home alone I do a lot of soups or grain/pasta salads. I definitely try to pick up only one of two veggies at a time and then search out 2-3 recipes for them. I also eat a lot of beans or else frozen chicken breasts or sausages because they are easy to freeze into individual servings. My "kitchen" and "dining area" consists of a corner and a table, but I do change up the runner on the table seasonally (the cable box/dvd player live on the other half so I can't use a full tablecloth. Maybe a little nerdy, but I have decor for all four seasons and also the holidays. For spring I have a white runner hand embroidered with pink flowers, and lavender dishes.
