Very nice, but as with previous posters, I'm confused about the changing table part. Anyone have a source for that adorable owl statue?

Amazing! What a bummer to find out that all that great detail was plastic. Great job with the pine instead.

$225 per chair is a bargain, even with the upholstery cost. She'll have them forever and they are gorgeous, classic pieces.

I've seen those chair restored and selling for $1200-1500. Great job!

Brilliant!I'm not a fan of that yellow finish on oak either, I've never looked into Briwax before and I think I'm going to now! I've got a couple of end tables that could use a good refinishing.

There is no "Lord Bodner" which is probably why people are having trouble finding an original of this print. It was engraved between 1805 and 1812 by a Swedish engraver named Christian-Didrick Forsell. The NY public library has a scan of the page, but here's a higher-res one.

This is an old piece of medical equipment. The shelves sticking out the side were either for small trays to sit on, or for towels. I have a similar piece, and originally there was probably an enameled cast-iron top on it.

The little porcelain dish looks like an old dental tray to me. I've seen tons that size that were used to mix dental compounds and such. Now why it would be placed under lath in a kitchen is another question.

That panel should be fairly easy to hide, either with a picture or a wall hanging. I've lived in apartments with exposed panels that were painted the same color as the wall. The eye tends to skim over it, so that would be an option as well.
