I wanted a sofa that looked expensive but really wasn't. I don't have a lot of money to splurge on furniture. I fell in love with the Le corbusier LC2 Sofa. I actually found one for $900. When it arrived it did not look at all like the picture. It was a really bad knockoff. After months of fighting with the company I bought it from I was finally able to return it and get a partial refund. I decided it was not worth pursuing in court so I chalked it up to a lesson learned. I was able to find a vey nice Le corbusier LC2 Sofa at Manhattan Home Design. I was on a business trip to the city and saw it on display. I ordered it on the spot. I finally got my couch and it is beautiful. I did pay $1600 for it but it was money well spent. So I say if you love it splurge on it. But be cautious because if it seems to good to be true it usually is.
