My Mother was a terrible cook, absolutely unimaginative. I love food and i love cooking. I learned cooking from cookbooks and in particular from the Vegetarian Epicure Who Taught You to Cook or Inspired Your Cooking? Memorial Day 2011 |

I am Italian and I have a subscription to a magazine called "CASAVIVA" which i have found highly inspirational through the years. i also like English magazines such as "House Beautiful" and "Real Homes". Alas they are very rarely available in Italy Day 3: Find Inspirational Photos For Your Home The 20/20 Home Cure |

Nice video. My husband often brings home fresh flowers, mainly roses. They have a unique fantastic scent which is so much better than synthetic products. Roses are beautiful and they also last long (about a week) Day 2: Buy Fresh Flowers The 20/20 Home Cure |

So Ican decribe what i am cooking right now: rigatoni with homemade sauce made out of fresh tomatoes, garlic, red hot italian peppers, extravirgin oil (from tuscany) and fresh basil. At the end i will add fresh grated parmigiano reggiano cheese. Italian Week: What Is Your Favorite Pasta Recipe? |

as I am Italian and currently living in italy everything seemed pretty normal to me (the gelato, the spaghetti, etc) except for the price of apricots which is definitely a bit too much. I am glad you enjoyed italy. The pictures are beautiful and offer an interesting image of italy from a different angle and not the usual churches fountains and piazze.
