Kids don't have an real understanding for design or their preferences until about age 4. Until then, a subtle and sophisticated nursery directed more for the parents is a swell idea. With the late nights and early mornings, parents deserve to be surrounded by what they like rather than living in a cutey/trendy mess. A nursery should still imply youngsters sleep there, but also cater to calming the parents nerves as well. Moderation is key. OK, so maybe the variety of flower colors in picture #3 aren't for everyone, but by using only 1-3 flower colors would minimize the retirement home look that some of you took away from this. I've never heard of using starch before, great suggestion! Tacks still leave small holes that could potentially create problems with the landlord. I love these cozy and colorful garden sheds! Smaller projects like these inspire a more out of the box design approach. They are more aligned with the landscaping scheme than the homes design scheme, which makes them so much fun! The interior decor of the shed should also be as fun. Although these are more standard looking prints you're used to seeing, they are fresh and pretty. Definitely for the ladies! I love the nursery with the colorful walls and animal decals. It gives kids a chance to interact with their bedrooms as they grow, along with learn colors and shapes. There is a similar wall decal collection by WALLTAT called "Kids on Safari" that introduces colorful scenery and kids playing in the jungle with friends and cute animals.
