The emotional and mental associations that are formed with different colors are VERY much affected by cultural influence. Just a tip- it really helps to iron out both pieces of fabric completely before you begin sewing them together. This helps reduce uneven-ness/billowing in the finished piece. Well, Hello There! |

Agree wholeheartedly with Elizcrtv. We have a tiny apartment with virtually no closet space and no washer/dryer in the building. While we have a need to "save up" laundry to reduce the number of laundromat trips, we don't have room for big plastic bins- they'd not only be an eyesore, they'd be outright difficult to navigate around. @Tamarind: you're close. Stabbing your chopsticks into a bowl of cooked rice (or any other food, really) when you are not using them is considered to be poor table manners, and rather offensive because of the incense association you mentioned.
