I'm firmly in the "no paint ever" club, and this makes my jaw drop. Excellent work. Brava!

Like many of the others, Pinterest actually helps me curb my shopping. I can view the beautiful things that I've pinned any time I want. Since I can't afford most of them, it inspires me to save up until I can buy the most beautiful objects one by one, instead of settling for something else.

Gorgeous picks. I understand why you chose them, but I'd still love to see pieces that us normal non-designers can purchase.

What about a contact for Austin? There is Spruce, of course, but their prices seem awfully high.

Maybe it's first-day hiccups, but in my Google Reader, only half the posts have images coming through. To manage my time, I would only click on the beautiful or interesting images, instead of clicking on your site to read every single post. If images no longer appear, it seems I'm going to have to find new Shelter Porn. I hope that isn't the case.

I roasted a duck with this recipe- subbing port-- as a marinade (4x the marinade for a duck compared to the breasts) for Christmas. The bird was gone in a matter of seconds. Super easy, and I highly recommend it.

My husband asked the other day how many kinds of salt we have, so this is really relevant.

Alderwood smoked sea salt, cyprus flakes, pink Himalayan salt, kosher salt, black Hawaiian salt, iodized salt for baking. I've gifted matcha tea salt and ginger salt.

I agree with Charlotte on the little containers. Oysters are essential to stuffing, it loses so much in flavor and texture without them.

Crispin is so delightful - it's my favorite cider, and I used to be a Woodchuck-only kind of girl. We have a few bottles of Honeycrisp in our fridge waiting to be drunk.

I say don't paint it. I think the white will date it in an unfortunate way, and you'll be deeply unhappy down the road.
