Reader Survey: How Often Do You Use Your iPad?

I use it quite a bit and my use of it varies over time. My latest use is to have it next to my bed to listen to internet music as I fall asleep. I use it to surf while I'm watching something on the laptop when it's connected to the tv monitor. I sometimes use it heavily for work when I'm teleworking in cafes--depends on the phase of the job (I don't like to carry a heavy laptop since I'm always on foot/bike/transit) and sometimes I use it more lightly teleworking. It cuts way down on work papers I have to carry around, since I access everything through the iPad. Telework was one of the main reasons I originally got it. I take it on trips. I also have an iPhone and a MacBook Pro. I find different uses for all three. I will say that I probably have used the iPad somewhat less since I got the iPhone, since I can do so much on the phone. But when you need a bigger screen, the iPad's definitely your gadget.

Don't ever change the name from Apartment Therapy. Even though huge houses are shown here, I want the focus to always go back to the roots of AT--small space, urban living,

I use Evernote incessantly, across all platforms: any computer, iPhone, iPad. But it's not just in the cloud, it's also backed up to wherever you actually download the app to, so you can open it up even when out of range. It's wonderful and they're constantly improving it.

That said, I just cleaned my place this weekend and I so love having it clean and would love for it always to be that way. So, I second the motion for a pdf version of your daily (non-kitchen) routine list too.

How To Clean Your Kitchen (and Keep it Clean) in 20 Minutes a Day for 30 Days

I always think this -- cleaning a little bit every day -- is a great idea, but I'm never able to maintain it over time. It's not so much the lack of time every day (although it definitely is on some days) so much as the need for complete downtime in the evenings at home. Yes, that might mean surfing the web. Or whatever. But I always get excited by this idea and it never seems to work for me.

Sadly, this 20/20 Cure isn't working for me--I don't find 20 min. on many, many days, and have worked in bigger time chunks when I've done the Cure during AT Cure season.

I was just sick for a couple of days. I think having a clean set of sheets to change the bed is really, really nice. Also, don't get sick during public radio fundraising week. Although it does put you to sleep.

You had me at bunks--if we had had bunk beds in our dorm, we would have had so much more space. This is very well done.

Loving this post and Velokova looks like a great site. If I had a Fuji X100, I'd definitely be in love with it too.

I bought a condo painted bold colors arranged in an interesting way that I happened to love and still have on my walls. Although the colors were good choices for potential buyers for this neighborhood and showed really well, another person still might not have liked them.
