I have my dad's cell and both my grandpa's number's memorized. Everyone else? Well... I guess I just use Facebook. :\ No cell phone here which makes it pretty depressing. Eventually I'll get one, but normally I keep a physical and digital address book at all times.

If I didn't live next to a graveyard, I would paint my house black with bright white trim.

Now that I'm in college my desk usually looks like several atomic paper bombs went off. I miss have a pristine desk.

I hand down all my items too. I've had two ipads, two digital cameras, two laptops (they broke and were stolen so no hand me down's there) , two ipods and one cell phone. All but the computers (and 1 ipod) are still being used by family. :)

I use a lot of blue/greys and purple/greys with accents in silver, white and charcoal black. Some of my art has winter scenes while the others are very bright.

I even have a metallic blue butterfly on the wall, white sheer curtains with Christmas lights woven in. You can't see at all at night because of how dark it is, so we plug in the Christmas lights.

To be honest though I do have a light colored "livewire" sky blue kitchen and bathroom. But that was to color up the yellow egg and lilac purple and it gives a great contrast between the rooms.

Paint colors of choice:
cantenburry blue
Shadow
Livewire
Sailcloth White
Black (charcoal colored)

Metals: Silver

Hmm... I had to carry around 50lbs. or more my first semester of college. Now I take a satchel with: bluetooth keyboard, ipad, ipod, 1 binder, pen, pencil, eraser, highlighter, book tags, 1 notebook, sandwich & stainless steel water bottle, wallet with student i.d. :) Take advantage of online classes, it will save you life, gas milage and your back. Weight of my satchel is usually around 15lbs. or less.

I'm in my 20's and i'll be moving in next May to Washington. I've never made and real friends where i live, my best friends live far away but we send cards and emails all the time to each other. It would be nice to have some local friends that haunt the bookstores and cafes like i do...

I read both: ebooks for interesting things i want to learn about or don't want to have lying around the house everywhere (college textbooks, foreign language books, library books, financial etc.) and real books for my absolute favorites. This way i keep clutter and shelf space to a minimum without sacrificing any books that i can't stand to part with.

I love making tea in the morning and fresh english muffins when i have the time. Normally though, it's water into the electric boiler, looseleaf tea, honey or sugar and cream for my tea. I wish i had a french press!! I don't own a microwave, coffee pot, toaster etc. Just an electric kettle and mini blender, it's so much better that way; though i do miss toast every once is a while. ...

I've been cable free for several years, I watch my shows online when they are streamed for free and purchase the dvd's when they are on sale if they are not already on Netflix. I have a Roku which i stream everything through to my tv as well as amazon movie rentals.

So, for $8 bucks a month i get "t.v.", rent movies when i get gift cards for selling college textbooks and get my season dvd's for free through best buy rewards. :) Why would i ever want cable back?

I love using specialty bars of soap and putting them into netting to make foaming bars. It lessens the soap scum and is just seems so much better than shower gel. Usually i use all natural lavender or sandalwood soaps for them.

I'm sadly over 40 miles from a farmers market, which is strange since i live in a rural town. The good news is, i'm moving to a city with one of the top 10 for farmers markets, i plan on shopping there at least weekly, maybe even 3 times a week. I don't know how i will resist after such a long time away (6 years) :( .

Christmas Tea
Ginger Tea

Chai "Stash's brand"
Chamomile
Gingerbread and sometimes peppermint.

I buy almost all of my tea from Adagio.com

I never use my phone at the table unless someone requests me to. Eating a meal with other people is so you can enjoy their company and the good food, not so you can be glued to your virtual world and ignore others, especially those that took the time to be there with you.
