I am definitely one to just do a little each day, otherwise I get completely overwhelmed. I'm currently tackling the second room in our apartment (unpacking everything and organizing) and sometimes I walk in there and get anxiety just looking at all the stuff. So I've tried to work on one corner of the room at a time for a little while, and then continue with whatever is left the next day. It's helped me to progress further than I would without that plan.

That looks incredible! Though I'm not sure how thrilled my landlord would be if I painted our vinyl floor (though sometimes I really wish we could).

Oh no! I guess I somehow submitted my question to two different cities. I'm kind of new here, so my apologies. However I do welcome new suggestions! Thanks everyone!

I like it on the tables too. I have these two side tables made of MDF that my friend scratched up really bad when I let her borrow them, and I might actually try this to cover it up.

I also thought of using contact paper or temporary wall paper as well. I'm in the middle of several DIY projects at the moment and want to use whatever is going to make me want to tear my hair out the least.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the great suggestions!

We tried moving the fridge last night, and unfortunately it sticks out so much that we wouldn't have much room to move around between the fridge and the stove. We also tried moving it to the other wall by the back door but it completely blocked the path into the kitchen. I also don't think my landlord would allow me to replace the fridge for a smaller one (it's also not really in the budget at the moment).

I'll definitely try out the ideas for open shelving and see where it takes me. I think the shelves, a kitchen cart in the open space and a little color will really make a big difference. I don't know why I never thought to use magnetic hooks to hang things from the side of the fridge. I knew I could count on the AT community to help me out. Thanks again!

What kind of bracket was used to make the wall mounted dining room table? I've been wanting to make something like this for my tiny kitchen!
