Definitely Scandinavian! I'm liking the room. I think it has a lot of potential! Go with long, white, dramtic curtains hung from right at the ceiling. It is definitely a skill that can be learned. I'm proof of that. It takes a lot of work and a lot of patience. It's not so much that I enjoy working outside all of the time, but I enjoy being surrounded by beautiful plants, and being able to go right outside my door to pick a tomato or gather up some fresh herbs. That is what makes all of the hard work worth it. I think one of the main problems with house plants is that people buy plants that aren't well suited to their living space. Make sure to check the requirements before you buy the plant. Is a Green Thumb Something You Can Learn? |

Thanks for all of the comments! The blanket was made by a family member. We bought our bedroom furniture at a regional furniture store called Wolf Furniture. I bought the bedside tables at a local Salvation Army, painted them white and added some new hardware. I'm sure you could find some similar tables at your local store if you are patient.
