I never comment on the editorial copy, but this is killing me. Are their kids 6 months or 2 years old?

It's beautiful, but I'd hate to be in there when the caulk finally goes.

I finally plunked down the money for a saucer. I'm a cheapo so it was difficult for me until I rationalized that it is made in the US and I'm paying a premium for that. If it were made in China, they could sell these for around $100 - not that they would :)

As great as the comments and tutorial are, there is one real issue that wasn't addressed - under the toilet seat hinge. I have two small boys with the worst aim and I have to remove the seat at the hinge to truly remove the grossness and rid the room of odors.

It's all in the details :)

I just watched the latest episode of Detroit 1-8-7 and it was about the urban explorers that photograph the city's decay. Unique perspective from local characters.

This reminds me of the argument Antonio made for himself on Design Star when the military family wanted neutral walls and he painted them a muted blue.

I get confused with AT. One day you're praising places like KnockoffWood and the next telling us these kinds are awful people that would shave kittens.

Nicely done.

How sad is it though that I have three full baths in my home and this one is still bigger than any of them?

Have you thought about not painting and actually going with natural wood instead? It could look really nice paired with a brown/black or dark gray trim. Here's a mockup.

I love that my wife has a baby grand and plays it well, but it has made moving to new places so difficult. Whenever we have looked at homes, the piano is the first thing considered.

I love large mirrors, but I'm concerned about having one in my home. A friend had a large one which reflected the light onto a throw on her couch, causing a house fire. Be careful where you place them!

ok, I have a tile question - How safe is it to have glass tiles on the floor of a bathroom, like #2 and #10? I want to do this in my bathroom renovation, but am concerned it would be too slick when wet or in socks. The space is a small 5'x5'.
