@alliej We also have the "12 bite rule". My daughter has one bite of asparagus (or mushrooms, or scrambled eggs...) for 10 or 12 meals, then we acknowledge that she doesn't like it for now, and she doesn't have to try it anymore. After a few months, we start again with trying it. Now that my kids are 17 and 13, they sometimes prompt me to give them a hated food, in case they now like it. They see they're changing taste buds as a sign that they are growing up (and they're right!). The Apple Trick: On Not Tricking Kids into Eating Well |

Cook a 14-lb turkey, make fabulous gravy with mashed potatoes and stuffing, etc. After T-giving, immediately take a couple lbs of the cooked meat off the carcass, and Freeze it. On Friday have leftovers, and on Saturday or Sunday put the carcass in the stockpot and make turkey noodle soup, adding any turkey you haven't eaten up. The frozen turkey meat is a time saver in December when you are busy with the holidays. Just take it out and serve heated in gravy over noodles, or use it in a casserole or soup. Here is a link to a NYT article on the hammock---the seat belts look brand new because they ARE. They are "end of line", extra from when a vehicle stops production or changes its specs for a seat belts. That's why the colors are...unusual (green is from ambulances). Cheers! Wow! What a beautiful wood floor! I'm no expert, but I love tile. I think the mosaic is too busy. Take it out, and consider a) a solid band of (one) bright color, b) metallic textured or mini-subway tile, c) glass mosaic mix, but more transparent---there are many choices. I have a Sicis zinnia mix (kind of taupe/root beer), and I love looking at it. Ann Sachs has a great deal of choice for hues of colored glass in squares and rectangles. good luck!
