I absolutely love that Green Life carries Mrs. Meyers cleaning products - definitely my favorite cleaning line...I've used it for quite some time now can't live without it!

It's so great to see that companies that support eco-friendly, modern yet functional products are here to stay. I'm all for it!!

I do think this style of sofa gives the piece a little more open/less bulky feeling - which I like! But that can also be achieved just fine through the overall design.

Yellow has always been a favorite... Adding an unexpected pop of yellow in a room is just makes me happy. My kitchen is a bit drab, and I don't have the budget to update it, so recently I added a few of these modern yellow kitchen towels by fermLiving (one of my favorite designers!!) - as well as a few other fun details, and it completely brightened the space!

You really can't go wrong with yellow...

I love the contrast of the black/white - you don't need to fill your home with red and green for it to still feel festive. This definitely makes the holiday a little more modern. Will have to keep this in mind for next year!

These are GREAT ideas! I don't have a fireplace in my little urban condo. It's great to see creative solutions to add a little holiday cheer to your space!

Great suggestions. These are tips I definitely need to be more mindful of following. The last thing I want to stress out about is my home!

And eco-friendly. I've always loved Amenity's modern bedding products. It's great to see them coming out with a holiday line as well - I wish more brands would do the same thing. I've had a hard time finding decent decorations that aren't cheesy.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I really like the look of a very industrial piece like this in a modern space - sort of adds a very raw element of design.

A very charming home - and great use of space.

This is a great way for people with small spaces to still get into the holiday spirit.

This is great! I recently read about similar examples of sustainable communities like this one, though the areas discussed aren't quite as heavily populated (or polluted for that matter!) as LA.

I love that being environmentally responsible and sustainable is creeping its way into urban development. Being green should be part of everyday living, and it's places like these that help make it possible. It's so great to see that this is being done in such a high dense, urban area.

I completely agree with bepsf. I don't see these blinds as a solution to be more efficient or anything - strictly a piece of unique decor. It would be very cool to see other designs, different than a lamp.

I think it's an interesting concept, but I won't be putting these in my home anytime soon.

I would also have liked to see a bit more of the space. The decor seems almost too simple and clean for my tastes (at least judging from the pictures) - but perhaps it works in this relaxing environment. In any event, it is a beautiful home.

These look great! Are they by chance the Meridian Deco Pendants by Lights Up! ?

I was also considering these modern pendant lights for my dining room (or something similar) - they turned out great for you!!

The shades really add warmth and depth to the room - great job!

I like this idea - something very personal that will never get old since it ties so close to the couple. Right on.

It looks really cool that the writing has begun to fade a little in some places...

Agreed - it's pretty cool that it's not only functional but also can turn your vintage bike into a pseudo-work of art. And it looks relatively easy to use...which is always a plus.

Pretty cool mag rack - definitely unique.

This is sort of on the opposite end of the spectrum, but I came across this modern magazine rack awhile back by Gus* Modern. I like the simplicity of the clean lines and think it would be a cool way to store/display all of my magazines. Now I just need to get around to buying it!
