I make a healthier version of this by using non-fat greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. I add some fresh garlic to the yogurt, spread that over the roasted corn with some cumin and chili, then add cotija or Parmesan and squeeze lime over it. So delicious (and much healthier!)

I was so excited to see the bathroom Scarlett lovingly mentioned...what a shame it isn't pictured. Great use of the space though. And love the duality of the urban atmosphere and country escape!

My husband has major issues with onions so he uses "Onion Goggles" that we bought at Williams-Sonoma...never tried the bread trick!

Ikea has really great sets that are extremely affordable. They offer some good colors too, if you wanted to mix and match. I love their shade of green, while my husband prefers the clean look of white, so we have some of each and they pair really well together! I typically stay away from Ikea, but for every day dishware it works, its easily replaceable and very versatile.

I grew up eating Turkey bacon and actually (gasp!) have come to love it more than real bacon... We always keep it in the house & its just delish!

I make a mean potato & corn chowder with Sherry that wouldn't be the same without the turkey bacon flavor!

its a branding disaster! I work in marketing & the package now looks totally generic...plus its hard to distinguish the different varieties. We thought we were buying pulp free OJ but instead came home with tangerine & orange OJ...way too hard to tell apart. A definite miss in re-branding.

There is a fabulous restaurant in Cambridge, MA called Green Street that uses a ton of brussels sprouts (often with pancetta or bacon)...our absolute favorite is the baked macaroni & cheese with bread crumb topping & brussels sprouts baked in. DELISH!

This is a little out of the way, but we found an amazing antique/salvage store in Pembroke, Ma. We were looking for some big furniture items for our apartment and bought an amazing hoosier chest & giant antique armoir for less than $300 together. Some of the stuff is a little too "shabby chic" for my taste, but the owner has a great eye and the prices are incredible. She usually posts items on her website/blog so you know what is there before you go...it might be worth checking out! We just love what we got there and people are ALWAYS asking us where...
