This is beautiful! I agree that the bathroom should be separated a bit more, but I believe it would be easy to achieve this. I'd add obfuscated glass above the half-wall. I'd also create a wall, and sliding door, of obfuscated glass to the open side of the bathroom. Finally, I'd affix a sound barrier, possibly carpeting, to the wall between the bed and the bathroom. In case this unit is shared by two people, I'd also add a thick curtain around the bed. I'm thinking something that can easily be pulled back when everyone is awake.
